Walgreens says the suspect jars are off the shelves now, but if you have purchased 8-ounce containers of Nice! brand peaches or mixed fruit, check the numbers on the labels. The company received one consumer complaint of glass particles in a jar of the peaches. Both products were recalled by Milky Way International Trading Corp. out of “an abundance of caution,” according to a company notice.
Glass particles could potentially cut or injure consumers if ingested.
“If you have any of the affected products on hand, please do not consume and return for refund to place of purchase. For any questions, please contact Milky Way International immediately at 1-888-496-9187 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, Pacific Standard Time.
